This policy explains what cookies and similar technologies are used on firstbeatclinic.com, and how you can control them. In short: First Beat Clinic sets no cookies of its own, and nothing optional is switched on unless you agree to it.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They allow a site to work properly, remember your preferences, or help the site owner understand how the site is used.
What is used on this site today
First Beat Clinic sets no cookies of its own. Only one cookie is placed when you browse this site, and it is there to keep our forms secure:
- Strictly necessary — a single cookie named __cf_bm, set by Cloudflare on our Book Now and Contact Us pages. It protects the booking and enquiry forms from automated abuse and expires after about 30 minutes. It cannot be switched off, and it is not used to identify you or follow you between sites.
- Analytics — none are in use at present. If we introduce them, they will only be set after you agree.
- Marketing — none are in use at present. If we introduce them, they will only be set after you agree.
Your consent choice
When you select Accept all, Reject all, or save your own preferences, we record that choice in your browser's local storage under the name fbc-consent. It stays on your device, is never sent to us or to anyone else, and exists only so the banner does not ask you again. Clearing your browsing data removes it, and the banner will reappear on your next visit.
Content embedded from other providers
A few pages include content served by other companies. Where a privacy-preserving version of an embed exists, we have chosen it:
- The booking and enquiry forms are provided by LeadConnector (GoHighLevel). These place the Cloudflare security cookie described above.
- The video on our Ultrasonography page is served by YouTube in no-cookie mode, which places no cookies.
- The map on our Contact Us page is a Google Maps embed, which places no cookies.
- Even where no cookie is set, loading embedded content tells that provider your IP address and which page you were viewing. Our Privacy Policy explains what this means for your data.
Changing your mind
Select Cookie Settings at the bottom of any page to review or change your choice at any time. You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop the booking and enquiry forms from working.
How long cookies last
The Cloudflare security cookie expires after about 30 minutes. Your consent choice remains on your device until you change it or clear your browsing data. If analytics or marketing cookies are ever introduced, this page will set out how long each of them lasts before any is used.
Changes to this policy
If we add analytics or marketing tools, we will update this page and ask for your consent again before anything new is placed on your device.
